Share Strategies and Bots

This tutorial will guide you through the essential steps to share your strategies and bots with other users. You can export any strategy or bot as a .zip file, and other users can easily import the file into their BotiTrader platform.

1. Sign In to Launch BotiTrader

  1. Open the software after installation.
  2. Enter your registered email and password, then click "Sign In".
  3. Once signed in, you will see the main interface.

2. Export a Strategy

  1. In the Main window, at the top of the charting window, click "Create Trading Bot".
  2. The Backtest window will appear.
  3. On the left side of the Backtest window, click to select a strategy from the Strategy List.
  4. Right-click and select "Export". A dialog will appear asking you to choose the location where the strategy file will be exported. Choose the location and click "Save". The strategy will be exported as a .zip file.

3. Import a Strategy

  1. In the Main window, at the top of the charting window, click "Create Trading Bot".
  2. The Backtest window will appear.
  3. Find the Strategy List on the left side. Hover over any strategy in the list, right-click, and select "Import". A dialog will appear asking you to choose the strategy file (*.zip) that will be imported.
  4. Choose the strategy file and click "Open". The strategy file will be imported, and the strategy will appear in the strategy list. If there is a name conflict, you will be asked to input a different name for the imported strategy.

4. Export a Bot

  1. In the Main window, find the bots table on the right side.
  2. Click to select a bot from the bots table.
  3. Right-click and select "Export". A dialog will appear asking you to choose the location where the bot file will be exported. Choose the location and click "Save". The bot will be exported as a .zip file.

5. Import a Bot

  1. In the Main window, find the bots table on the right side.
  2. Hover over any bot in the table, right-click, and select "Import". A dialog will appear asking you to choose the bot file (*.zip) that will be imported.
  3. Choose the bot file and click "Open". The bot file will be imported, and the bot will appear in the bots table. If there is a name conflict, you will be asked to input a different name for the imported bot.
